Training Manager – Hospitality Operations

About the role

The Training Manager will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for both new hires and existing staff within Matana Group's hospitality operations. This role ensures that employees meet company standards, deliver excellent customer service, and comply with food safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all employee levels.
• Conduct orientation and onboarding sessions for new hires.
• Train staff on company standards, customer service, food safety, and operational procedures.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and monitor employee performance.
• Identify training needs and recommend development plans.
• Maintain accurate training records and prepare regular reports.
• Support managers in coaching and developing their teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and food safety regulations.
• Update training materials and manuals as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, Learning & Development, or Training Management.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, cafes, QSR, catering, or similar hospitality environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Training, L&D, HACCP, Food Safety) are preferred.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.
