Training Supervisor

About the role

The Training Supervisor will partner with managers, department heads and division leaders to assess staffing and learning needs, develop training strategies, and deliver effective learning experiences for hotel staff.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with managers to discuss staffing, recruitment and open requisitions.
• Conduct needs assessments and develop learning plans based on identified gaps.
• Design, develop and produce training materials such as workbooks, manuals, brochures, job aids and posters.
• Prepare training classes, set up and break down sessions, and create interactive training formats.
• Deliver stand‑up training sessions to employee groups and monitor safety training compliance.
• Assist management with hiring, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and coaching employees.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures and confidentiality requirements.
• Maintain professional appearance, communicate clearly, and provide excellent guest service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
