Accountant – Accounts Receivable & Payable

About the role

EVA Pharma is seeking a passionate Accountant to support its mission of improving health and well‑being. The role focuses on managing accounts receivable and payable across emerging markets, ensuring timely collections, accurate payments, and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances in emerging markets, ensuring collection within agreed credit terms.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices, guaranteeing accuracy and timely vendor payments.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of AP/AR sub‑ledgers against the general ledger and resolve any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to promptly address customer account issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports for both payables and receivables for finance management.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements across all emerging market jurisdictions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including accruals, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain complete documentation for all AP/AR transactions to ensure audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounts receivable experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
