Accountant – Saudi Accounting Experience Required

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Accountant based in Egypt with solid experience in Saudi accounting regulations. The successful candidate will manage daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with Saudi tax laws, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions, prepare accurate journal entries, and keep financial records up to date.
• Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements to guarantee accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Handle VAT calculations, tax filings, and ensure full compliance with Saudi tax regulations.
• Coordinate with tax advisors and external auditors, providing required documentation during audits and tax reviews.
• Support monthly and year‑end closing processes by reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and delivering timely financial analysis to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (English Department).
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting laws and tax regulations.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Experience with the Odoo ERP system is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with accounting software, preferably Odoo.
