Accounts Receivable Accountant (Customer Account)

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage customer account transactions, ensure accurate documentation, and support the finance team at IFT Corporation in Mokattam, Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review exchange documents from suppliers and the sales team.
• Prepare and verify disbursement requests, expense refunds, and covenant settlements.
• Check eligibility for exchange requests and deliver applications to the document collection centre.
• Enter salary restrictions, process installment payments, and validate car‑related premium restrictions.
• Close supplier accounts, record purchases for resale, and maintain supporting purchase journal documents.
• Save insurance receipts, daily restrictions, stock documents, and purchase invoices with proper approvals.
• Capture store transfer images and update the system accordingly.
• Post daily entries to the collection journal for checks and cash.
• Process checks and bills, reconcile payments, and reflect impacts on customer accounts.
• Follow up on check collections, deposits, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Handle sales and quarterly discounts specific to the pharmaceutical sector.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication for payment follow‑up.
• Capability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
