Business Analyst, Healthcare IT (HIS/EMR)

About the role

Under general supervision, the Business Analyst supports the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and other digital healthcare solutions. The role collaborates with clinical, administrative, and technical stakeholders to analyse current workflows, define future‑state processes, and ensure solutions meet operational, regulatory, and patient‑care objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements‑gathering workshops, interviews and site assessments, and produce business requirement documents, use cases and gap analyses.
• Collaborate with architects and implementation teams to translate requirements into system configurations, identify integration and customization needs, and validate solution designs.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, manage expectations and ensure alignment on scope and deliverables.
• Develop and support test cases, test scenarios and UAT scripts; coordinate UAT activities and validate solutions against approved requirements.
• Support data collection, master‑data validation, workflow validation and readiness assessments during implementation and go‑live phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of Business Analysis experience on healthcare IT, HIS, EMR/EHR or digital health projects.
