Finance Manager – Multi‑country Operations

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Finance Manager to ensure the financial integrity of its operations across three legal entities in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. The role is based in Cairo and reports to senior business leaders, providing financial insight and control.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing, including accruals, reclassifications and journal entries.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with Group accounting policies and review significant accounting judgments.
• Serve as primary liaison with the Shared Service Centre for Record‑to‑Report, Purchase‑to‑Pay and Invoice‑to‑Cash processes.
• Manage and develop a team of two Finance Analysts, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Maintain full compliance with statutory tax requirements (CIT, VAT, WHT) and submit timely returns.
• Review purchase orders, goods receipts, payroll reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Act as finance business partner to regional leaders, supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and uphold the Group’s internal control framework (SOX‑PCAOB).

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing month‑end and year‑end closing for multiple entities.
• Strong knowledge of statutory tax compliance in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
• Experience managing a small finance team and coordinating with a Shared Service Centre.
• Ability to act as a finance business partner, providing analytical insight to senior leaders.
