Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative)

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative) to be based in Dakahlia, Egypt. The role focuses on promoting Specialized Nutrition products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and increasing market share within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and private practices regularly to build scientific‑based relationships and position Danone’s nutrition solutions as the preferred choice.
• Deliver accurate product information, clinical studies and visual/audio presentations to HCPs and key opinion leaders.
• Identify business opportunities, monitor competitor activity and implement weekly call cycles in coordination with the manager.
• Maintain high product knowledge, handle queries and complaints, and ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations for infant formula.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports, manage daily database entries and follow administrative procedures.
• Organise and conduct seminars, nutrition education events and medical detailing sessions.
• Collect market intelligence on HCPs and competitors and provide insights to the management team.

Required profile

• Proven ability to influence HCP attitudes and drive product adoption.
• Strong scientific communication skills with the capacity to present clinical data.
• Experience in field sales or medical detailing within the healthcare sector.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage call cycles, reporting and event coordination.
