About the role
Mixel, a Silvaco company, makes high-performance analog mixed-signal semiconductor IPs used in mobile, display, camera, automotive, VR, AR and AI applications. Its Cairo office runs a 3-month internship program for layout engineers, where interns learn from experienced engineers, contribute to real engineering projects and use industry-leading design methodologies, tools and workflows.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of custom IC layout techniques
- Knowledge of basic analog design techniques (essential)
Required skills
- Custom IC layout
- Analog design basics
- Desirable: strong knowledge of shell scripting and other programming languages
- Desirable: strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
Applicants should include their current GPA (or latest academic grade) and military status (if applicable) in their resume. Outstanding interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities.
