Medical Science Liaison – Scientific Engagement

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) acts as a scientific bridge between Grifols Egypt for Plasma Derivatives and the medical community. The role focuses on delivering unbiased clinical information, supporting evidence‑based practice, and building strong relationships with key opinion leaders to promote the safe and effective use of our plasma‑derived therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals, providing scientific and clinical insights on GEPD products.
• Develop and execute external medical engagement plans, including pre‑launch activities, congress presentations, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
• Deliver medical education and training to internal teams such as sales, marketing, and regulatory affairs.
• Support clinical trial activities by identifying investigators, assisting site selection, and maintaining trial communications.
• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in a compliant, non‑promotional manner and ensure all activities meet regulatory and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with medical advisors, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and commercial teams to align field insights with overall medical strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum of 60 months (5 years) experience in a medical science liaison, medical affairs, or related scientific engagement role.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and real‑world evidence generation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
