OIC Integration Lead / Developer

About the role

BlackStone eIT is looking for a hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Lead / Developer in Cairo who acts as both integration lead and practical builder. The role is not architecture-only: you will own the technical interface catalogue, author MD.070 designs, build approved OIC integrations, secure and monitor interfaces, support SIT/UAT and cutover, and stay accountable through production hypercare. It suits someone who can design and build, rather than just coordinate developers.

Key responsibilities

• Own integration architecture execution, maintain the Interface Register, and produce MD.070 designs covering source/target, patterns, mappings, security, error handling, retries, reconciliation, monitoring and ownership.
• Build and configure approved OIC integrations and OCI API Gateway exposures using REST, SOAP, file/batch and event-driven patterns.
• Integrate Oracle Fusion with retained operational systems and external services (regulatory platforms, banking/payment services, e-invoicing, e-signature, SMS, calendars, biometric devices, content services and analytics feeds).
• Implement interface identities, OAuth/OIDC, mTLS, certificates and secrets, scoped accounts, least privilege and payload masking.
• Implement transformations, validations, business identifiers, error taxonomy, retry/replay mechanisms and idempotency controls.
• Own unit testing, support SIT, E2E, UAT, defect resolution, reconciliation and production cutover sequencing.
• Provide operational monitoring for failures, backlogs, retries and latency, maintain recovery runbooks and support production hypercare.
• Assess workload and escalate early if a second OIC developer is needed.

Required profile

• 10+ years of Oracle Integration Cloud / Oracle Integration experience with proven hands-on development capability.
• Demonstrated experience taking interfaces through unit testing, SIT, UAT, production cutover and operational support.
• Proven ability to produce clear MD.070 designs, test evidence and operational runbooks.
• Candidates with architecture-only backgrounds, generic middleware experience without Oracle Fusion adapters, or no evidence of production support will not be considered.

Required skills

• REST, SOAP, file/batch and event-driven integration design and build.
• Fusion adapters and Oracle Fusion integration patterns.
• OCI API Gateway design and exposure.
• Data transformation, mapping, orchestration, lookups, routing and reusable connection patterns.
• Interface security (OAuth/OIDC, mTLS, secrets management, payload masking) and fault handling (retries, backoff, idempotency, exception management).

Preferred: API Gateway experience for externally exposed APIs, real-world integration examples in Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM or CX, production operability evidence using correlation IDs and dashboards, experience with OUM-ABF design frameworks, and prior go-live and hypercare ownership on complex transformations.
