Onboarding Specialist – Merchant & Partner Integration

About the role

The Onboarding Specialist welcomes new merchants, suppliers and business partners to the Mrkoon platform. You will guide them through registration, verification and activation, ensuring a smooth start and fostering long‑term engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Contact newly registered merchants via phone, WhatsApp or other channels.
• Guide customers through the onboarding workflow and verify the completeness of their information.
• Collect, validate and archive required legal and business documents.
• Understand each partner’s business activities and the types of scrap or surplus materials they handle.
• Educate customers on platform benefits, services and features.
• Build strong relationships and encourage active usage of the platform.
• Follow up on missing information, coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely account activation.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and track onboarding metrics.
• Report feedback and improvement opportunities to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Customer Success, Customer Service, Sales, Merchant Onboarding or Account Management.
• Experience with marketplace, e‑commerce or technology platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously.
