Receivables Accountant – Hurghada

About the role

We are looking for a Receivables Accountant to join our Hurghada site. The role involves managing daily sales transactions, handling customer collections, and supporting the finance team in monthly closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile daily sales transactions at the assigned site.
• Review sales records and counter readings to ensure accuracy.
• Handle customer collections, advance payments, and follow‑up on customer accounts.
• Maintain receivables records and support collection activities.
• Monitor site operating expenses and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage the site’s petty cash in line with company policies.
• Coordinate daily with the Cairo Finance Team, responding to financial inquiries and providing required supporting information.
• Participate in the monthly financial closing process by reconciling and closing site accounts with the Cairo Finance Team.
• Report directly to the Cairo Finance Team while providing day‑to‑day financial support to the Site Technical Team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel.
• SAP knowledge is preferred.
• Commerce (English Section) graduates are preferred.
• Must be a resident of Hurghada / Red Sea Governorate.
