Tax Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead all tax compliance, planning and optimisation activities for a manufacturing organisation. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures adherence to Egyptian tax regulations while identifying opportunities for tax savings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all tax compliance filings, including VAT, income tax and payroll tax.
• Lead tax planning and optimisation initiatives across the business.
• Handle tax audits, inspections and liaison with tax authorities.
• Prepare and review tax reports, provisions and financial statements.
• Provide tax advice to management and various business units.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in taxation, accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws, VAT, income tax, payroll tax and tax compliance.
• Proven experience handling tax audits and interacting with tax authorities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop tax strategies and identify tax‑saving opportunities.
• Leadership experience managing and developing tax teams.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, real‑estate, consulting or large corporate environments is preferred.
