Assistant Manager – Project Development

About the role

Americana Restaurants is seeking an Assistant Manager – Project Development to drive new growth opportunities across its portfolio of iconic restaurant brands. You will work closely with Real Estate, Finance, Operations and Legal teams to evaluate, plan and execute expansion projects that deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and track development projects, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget delivery with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Analyse performance data, market trends and competitive intelligence to produce actionable insights for the development pipeline.
• Partner with internal and external parties to support deal structuring, contract alignment and project feasibility, while maintaining clear communication.
• Monitor post‑launch performance, calculate ROI and recommend continuous improvements.
• Act as the primary interface with franchisors, driving new‑build and remodel agreements and ensuring brand compliance.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards to track KPIs and distil insights from large data sets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 4–6 years of experience in brand development, project management or business development within Food & Beverage, Retail or Hospitality.
• Strong command of financial modelling, P&L analysis and investment evaluation tools.
• Proven problem‑solving, analytical thinking and project‑management capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and manage diverse stakeholder groups.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
