Backend Developer – .NET & AWS (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Backend Developer to join a fast‑growing Swiss deep‑tech company that builds a drone‑based inspection platform. The role is fully remote, focusing on designing and implementing server‑side logic, APIs and data pipelines that power 3D modeling, video processing and AI‑driven defect detection.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and databases for web applications.
• Design and integrate scalable APIs for data ingestion, processing and storage.
• Implement CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines using AWS ECS, Lambda and S3.
• Write clean, testable, well‑documented code and conduct code reviews.
• Participate in architecture design and product decision‑making.
• Collaborate with frontend, cloud, robotics and AI teams to ensure system integration, scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core and C#/.NET.
• Proficiency in Python for backend or data‑oriented tasks.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker and GitHub workflows.
• Fluent English communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
