Commercial Funding Specialist – Associate

About the role

The Commercial Funding Specialist – Associate will act as the primary liaison for Alliance partner funding programmes across EMEA. Working closely with Alliance Drivers, Marketers and account teams, you will ensure that funding opportunities from partners such as Microsoft, Google, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce and AWS are fully understood, correctly applied and efficiently executed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of partner funding programmes, including eligibility, processes, deadlines and reporting.
• Provide expert guidance to Alliance Drivers, Marketers and account teams on funding utilisation.
• Assist teams in preparing data, documentation and inputs for funding requests.
• Handle ad‑hoc funding requests and edge cases outside standard automated workflows.
• Draft, review and refine Statements of Work (SOWs) that cannot be generated by AI agents.
• Follow up on approvals, claims and outstanding items requiring manual intervention.
• Collaborate with Funding Platform administrators and AI developers to improve automation.
• Support monthly funding tracking, reporting and insight generation for leadership.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, playbooks and FAQs for internal use.

Required profile

• Associate‑level experience with a strong interest in technology partner ecosystems.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally across EMEA territories.
• Proactive communication and problem‑solving mindset.
