Communications Expert – Donor Project

About the role

The Donor is seeking a highly motivated Communications Expert to implement its Communication Strategy in Egypt. Working under the Team Leader and alongside non‑key experts, you will enhance the visibility of donor‑financed development projects and raise public awareness of the partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of the donor’s communication strategy to meet strategic objectives.
• Develop and manage a detailed work plan, identifying key activities, resources and challenges.
• Analyse existing communication plans, pinpoint strengths and gaps, and propose enhancements.
• Design targeted campaigns for younger audiences and co‑create strategic communication approaches.
• Oversee production of visibility content (videos, graphics, social‑media assets) tailored to diverse audiences.
• Provide strategic guidance for future communication plans aligned with post‑2026 goals.
• Support milestone reporting and client engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• University degree (or equivalent experience) in media, communication, event management, international relations, marketing or advertising.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in media, communication, marketing or advertising.
• At least 5 years managing communication campaigns and large public events.
• At least 3 years developing visibility and communication products, including videos and social‑media content.
