Data Business Analysis Specialist / Analyst / Senior Analyst

About the role

The Data Business Analysis Specialist / Analyst / Senior Analyst designs data‑strategy solutions that meet the organisation’s needs and collaborates with product owners to plan and deliver those solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive new requirements and translate business needs into technical data solutions through direct engagement with stakeholders.
• Undertake technical solution design and support product owners throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Utilise data‑warehouse tools to fulfil the bank’s diverse requirements and deliver operational solutions.
• Document all changes and activities accurately during implementation phases.
• Ensure ethical data handling and compliance with company policies, internal controls, data‑protection legislation and relevant standards.
• Identify opportunities for process efficiency, develop business proposals and communicate change initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering (preferred).
• Banking experience preferred.
• Experience participating in large‑scale (mega) data projects.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to spot trends, variances, risks and opportunities.

Required skills

• Data Warehouse tools (e.g., DWH platforms).
• Statistical analysis tools.
• Knowledge of data flow and various data tools.
• Experience in business analysis and solution design.
