Electrical Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Electrical Technician will provide on‑site maintenance and repair services for guest rooms and hotel facilities at the Sheraton Montazah Hotel. You will respond to guest requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all electrical and related systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve guest repair requests promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pneumatic systems.
• Carry equipment, operate shut‑off valves, and manage utility shut‑offs for the building.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift handover.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, A/C filters, electrical switches, outlets, and other guestroom items.
• Program televisions, perform housekeeping‑related inventory duties, and use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting hazards and incidents.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to acquire additional technical knowledge on the job.
• Physical capability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform manual tasks.
• Clear, professional communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
