Housekeeping Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Housekeeping Manager to lead cleaning operations across our facilities in Cairo. The role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and service quality, supporting both client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee housekeeping operations to maintain top‑level cleanliness, hygiene and service quality.
• Supervise housekeeping supervisors and staff, coordinating daily operations and manpower distribution.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare hygiene standards, infection‑control policies and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections, monitor performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Plan and control cleaning schedules, materials, equipment and inventory.
• Coordinate with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and high client satisfaction.
• Handle operational issues, complaints and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Prepare operational reports, track KPIs and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Train and guide housekeeping teams to uphold operational excellence and service standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8–10 years of proven experience in housekeeping operations.
• Background in the healthcare sector or hotel management is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of healthcare hygiene standards.
• Familiarity with infection‑control procedures.
• Understanding of safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
