IT Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Specialist to manage daily IT operations, provide technical support, and ensure secure, stable systems across the organization. You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver technology solutions that align with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and minimize downtime.
• Serve as the first point of contact for technical support and resolve end‑user issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
• Manage network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement and enforce security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and data protection protocols.
• Apply system updates, patches, and backups to ensure continuity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Track IT assets, manage software licenses, and oversee lifecycle management.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and technical support.
• Validate system performance after maintenance and upgrades.
• Provide user training on IT systems and security best practices.
• Perform hardware upgrades and component replacements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Hands‑on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with security solutions such as pfSense, MikroTik, FortiGate, antivirus, and encryption.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Strong documentation, organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
