About the role

Cartona is a fast‑growing B2B marketplace that connects retailers with wholesalers, suppliers and producers. As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for building and nurturing long‑term relationships with senior decision‑makers at strategic customer accounts, driving revenue growth and ensuring a seamless ordering experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across assigned key accounts.
  • Identify, prospect and close new strategic partnership opportunities aligned with Cartona’s market objectives.
  • Generate demand for Cartona’s products and services, aiming to increase gross merchandise value (GMV) per account.
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with customers to align their needs with Cartona’s offerings.
  • Provide quarterly performance reviews, highlighting growth opportunities and improvement areas.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure brand requirements and service levels are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of all account activities using Excel and internal systems.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Proven experience in key account management, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a problem‑solving mindset and ability to adapt to market changes.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel.
