About the role
Cartona is a fast‑growing B2B marketplace that connects retailers with wholesalers, suppliers and producers. As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for building and nurturing long‑term relationships with senior decision‑makers at strategic customer accounts, driving revenue growth and ensuring a seamless ordering experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across assigned key accounts.
- Identify, prospect and close new strategic partnership opportunities aligned with Cartona’s market objectives.
- Generate demand for Cartona’s products and services, aiming to increase gross merchandise value (GMV) per account.
- Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with customers to align their needs with Cartona’s offerings.
- Provide quarterly performance reviews, highlighting growth opportunities and improvement areas.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure brand requirements and service levels are met.
- Maintain accurate records of all account activities using Excel and internal systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Proven experience in key account management, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a problem‑solving mindset and ability to adapt to market changes.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced setting.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel.
