About the role
We are looking for an experienced Level‑2 Unified Communications Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance our Cisco‑based UC and IP‑telephony environment. The role involves supporting voice, video, and contact‑center solutions across multiple sites while ensuring optimal network performance.
Key responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection, IM&Presence, Contact Center Server, and Voice Gateways (CUBE, Recording, Billing).
- Manage Cisco CMS video conferencing and WebEx cloud meetings.
- Configure and maintain VOIP cluster components and provide remote‑site implementation support.
- Integrate and troubleshoot call‑recording solutions and collaboration applications.
- Participate in design discussions to continuously improve the VOIP segment.
- Optimize network settings for VOIP/multicast and overall UC performance.
- Provide medium‑level technical support to end users and emergency on‑call assistance for new UC requirements.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, enforce policies, and use monitoring tools for performance reporting.
- Handle VLAN routing, tagged/untagged interfaces, DHCP options, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Maintain Cisco router and switch infrastructure.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in unified communications engineering, preferably with Cisco technologies.
- Cisco certification (CCNA/CCNP Collaboration) or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Adaptability to a fast‑paced, evolving technology environment.
