Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and assets at the Sheraton Sharm Hotel Resort. Working full‑time on‑site, you will patrol the property, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact emergency services.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances and escort unwelcome persons.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and daily activity logs.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and conduct interviews.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and loss‑prevention documentation.
• Assist guests, including those with disabilities, and uphold hospitality standards.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted (75 lb with assistance).
• Clear professional communication skills.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training and licensing requirements.
• Capability to read small print and visually inspect equipment for defects.
