Manufacturing Facilities Lead

About the role

The Manufacturing Facilities Lead is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities in non‑GMP areas such as offices, administrative spaces, civil works, elevators, handling equipment, plumbing and furniture. The role ensures that these facilities remain safe, functional and compliant with industry and safety standards while supporting overall operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team, assigning tasks and ensuring high performance.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance operations for all non‑GMP facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and verify optimal functioning of building systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans to maximize equipment reliability.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, guaranteeing availability and proper storage.
• Coordinate with internal departments to schedule work without disrupting operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions and safety compliance.
• Supervise external contractors, technical services and third‑party agents to meet organizational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or a related field (optional certification in SAP‑PM or other CMMS).
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in facilities maintenance, including supervision of technicians and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, civil works and elevators, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and drive operational improvements.

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP‑PM or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Technical understanding of plumbing, civil and elevator systems.
