Part-Time Data Architect

About the role

Integrant is seeking a part‑time Data Architect to design end‑to‑end data solutions that enable analytical consumption across a variety of client environments. You will work with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust ingestion, storage, processing and presentation architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse requirements from multiple business units.
• Select, customise and implement analytical architectures such as data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, data fabrics and data meshes.
• Design and build scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and enrichment.
• Develop data strategies and coach internal teams and clients on modern data‑ops, MLOps and governance practices.
• Validate technical designs to ensure they meet performance, availability and cost objectives.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related quantitative field (post‑graduate degree preferred).
• Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at all organisational levels and translate analytical challenges into actionable solutions.
• Deep knowledge of the evolution of analytical architectures and the ability to justify design choices.

Required skills

• Microsoft on‑prem data platform: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
• Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., MS Fabric, Azure Data Factory).
• AWS services: S3, Lake Formation, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis.
• Large‑scale processing platforms: Databricks, Snowflake.
• Data‑warehouse architecture and dimensional modelling.
• Vibe coding tools (Cursor, Codex, Claude Code).
• Agentic frameworks and LLM orchestration (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Llamaindex, n8n).
• Agent Protocol (MCP) and DataOps practices.
