About the role
The Reservation Agent will ensure accurate and timely handling of hotel bookings, uphold Kempinski service standards, and support revenue management initiatives at the Safaga property.
Key responsibilities
- Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance, and system close‑out when required.
- Maintain up‑to‑date reservation data in the Opera PMS and related systems.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by adhering to Kempinski service standards.
- Apply internal credit policies and follow up on lost business.
- Spot‑check previous‑day reservations and verify VIP arrivals.
- Achieve test call quality scores (LQA/IFH) above 85%.
- Participate in the internal up‑sell programme for the Reservations department.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Required profile
- Professional appearance, strong ethics, and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain high standards of data integrity.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Opera PMS (central system knowledge).
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Understanding of revenue management and market performance reports.
