STEM Translation Reviewer – Arabic (Remote, Contract)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a native‑level Arabic speaker with a strong STEM background to evaluate and improve machine‑generated translations of scientific and technical content. This contract position is fully remote and offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to work independently while contributing to cutting‑edge AI research.

Key responsibilities

• Review translated responses to STEM questions and assign quality ratings.
• Write reference (golden) responses when needed to set translation standards.
• Provide clear judgments on both technical accuracy and linguistic quality in Modern Standard Arabic.
• Work asynchronously to meet deadlines and continuously enhance translation outputs.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic.
• Strong background in science, engineering, mathematics, or technology (degree or professional experience).
• Ability to assess both technical correctness and language fluency.
