Tech Implementation Manager

About the role

The Technical Implementation Engineer is responsible for hands‑on deployment, configuration, and integration of network, security, and IT solutions for enterprise customers. This position bridges technical design and live operational environments, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, to specification, and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and integrate routing, switching, security, cloud, and UC solutions for enterprise clients.
• Execute implementation plans created by the Technical Design Authority and Project Manager.
• Perform site surveys, equipment staging, cabling, and systems integration as required.
• Conduct technical testing, validation, and user‑acceptance tests against design specifications.
• Document implementation activities, configuration records, and as‑built documentation.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors and local teams during site‑based deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues promptly.
• Support handover from project delivery to operational support teams.
• Participate in post‑implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Telecommunications or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in network or IT implementation within a telecom/IT services environment.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet or similar vendors.
• Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SD‑WAN, LAN/WAN, EIGRP, IPv6).
• Experience with SD‑WAN solutions (VeloCloud, Fortinet) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with security platforms such as Zscaler or Checkpoint.
• Understanding of ITIL change‑management processes and ticketing systems.
