Upper Primary English Teacher – August 2026

About the role

Scholar's International Language School is looking for a dedicated Upper Primary English Teacher to join our Year 5 team starting August 2026. You will work in a supportive environment, inspiring young learners to develop strong literacy skills and a love for English.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Foster literacy development through reading, writing, and speaking activities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning atmosphere.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, English Education, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification or certification (preferred).
• Previous experience teaching upper‑primary students (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of English language instruction and literacy development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Enthusiastic, committed, and focused on creating an engaging learning environment.
