Account Operations - Senior Associate (Audit Support)

About the role

PwC is hiring a Senior Associate for its Account Operations team in Cairo (ETIC). The role centres on audit support: preparing supporting documentation, gathering and validating data, and helping onshore audit teams deliver their work within agreed timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare audit support documentation using predefined templates and formats, following structured instructions.
• Collate and organise supporting data and evidence for audit requests, and perform data gathering, validation and reconciliation.
• Extract and compile information from ERP systems, reports and source documentation.
• Support the preparation of audit working papers according to defined methodologies and quality standards.
• Check documentation for completeness and quality before submission to onshore audit teams, flagging gaps and inconsistencies.
• Liaise with onshore teams, track audit requests and update trackers so tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails, and help manage audit evidence repositories.
• Take part in quality reviews, remediation and knowledge transfer, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide status updates and metrics for reporting, and respect data privacy and confidentiality.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience in audit support, accounting, finance operations, shared services, data preparation, ERP support or process-driven delivery roles; fresh graduates with a relevant accounting, finance, audit or business background may also be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Working knowledge of audit processes is preferred; basic accounting knowledge is advantageous.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Excel and standard Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, process-driven environment.
