Accounting Reporting Manager

About the role

Minapharm Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Accounting Reporting Manager to lead group‑level financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting across all entities. The role serves as the primary liaison between subsidiary finance teams, the Group Financial Controller, and external auditors, ensuring compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS), IFRS, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements for all group entities under EAS and IFRS.
• Own the consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations, foreign‑currency translation, and minority interest calculations.
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close cycles, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure proper disclosure of accounting policies, judgments, and estimates in the financial statements.
• Research and interpret complex EAS/IFRS standards, producing formal position papers.
• Lead accounting treatment for non‑routine transactions such as business combinations, provisions, impairments, lease accounting (IFRS 16/EAS 20), and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate technical accounting matters and management representations with external auditors (EY).

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial reporting and consolidation within a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Proven ability to manage period‑end close processes and lead a team of reporting, consolidation, and tax specialists.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
