Universal Banker – Retail Banking

About the role

The Universal Banker will operate the teller counters of a new branch, delivering seamless cash‑handling services while building strong relationships with walk‑in customers. You will be the primary point of contact for banking inquiries, product education, and complaint resolution, ensuring a high‑quality experience across all customer demographics.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash transactions accurately at teller counters and manage related financial controls.
• Promote and sell retail banking products to walk‑in customers, meeting personal KPI targets.
• Introduce customers to digital channels and alternative banking technologies.
• Handle customer complaints, log issues, and coordinate with support units to achieve resolution.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, aiming for zero operational losses.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce cycle time and costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of branch banking experience, preferably in retail banking.
• Age between 23 and 30 years.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products, processes and policies.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and ability to use banking software.
• Tech‑savvy mindset to adopt new digital tools.
