Associate Professor / Lecturer in Critical Care Nursing

About the role

Aswan University seeks a full‑time faculty member in Critical Care Nursing. The position can be filled at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The role involves delivering lectures, seminars, and clinical instruction while aligning course content with current evidence‑based practices.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update lecture and clinical teaching materials.
• Supervise and mentor students during clinical practice.
• Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and practical evaluations.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic advising.
• Participate in departmental and university committees.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities related to nursing and healthcare, when applicable.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in nursing with a focus on critical care.
• Strong clinical knowledge and practice‑based experience.
• Experience in nursing education and curriculum development.
• Background in medicine or related health sciences supporting interdisciplinary teaching.
• Knowledge of pediatric and adult care populations.
• Relevant academic degree in nursing (Master’s or Doctorate preferred).
• Excellent teaching, communication, and mentorship abilities.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice, ethical standards, and continuous professional development.
