BIM Engineer – II

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is looking for an experienced BIM Engineer – II to join its Middle East Design & Engineering delivery team in Cairo. The role involves leading BIM/CAD packages, mentoring technicians, and ensuring high‑quality deliverables that meet client scope, budget and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage CAD/BIM packages with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with UK/ME regional standards.
• Mentor and technically supervise CAD/BIM technicians, identifying training needs and supporting team development.
• Produce and coordinate Revit models for reinforced concrete and steel structures, including general arrangements, sections and detailed drawings.
• Support project teams during proposal and delivery phases and enforce BIM standards across projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with at least 5 years of multidisciplinary project experience.
• Proven ability to lead small teams, manage multiple assignments and deliver cost‑effective solutions.
• Strong understanding of commercial aspects of project management and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of BIM and CAD tools, especially Revit.
• Expertise in reinforced concrete and steel structures design.
• Experience with civil structures modelling and coordination.
