Cluster Director of Revenue - Movenpick Sharm El Sheikh & Mercure Hurghada

About the role

Accor is recruiting a Cluster Director of Revenue for its Movenpick Sharm El Sheikh and Mercure Hurghada properties. The role guides and directs the department heads in choosing the best revenue opportunities, measures total revenue performance against strategy and targets, and adapts the strategy as needed. It also actively monitors the competitive environment and develops tactics to maximise the Revenue Generation Index (RGI).

Key responsibilities

• Drive the forecasting process for all operating departments, identify revenue potentials and supply/demand variables, and monitor market changes and their financial impact.
• Assist in preparing the annual Sales & Marketing budget and business plan, covering market mix, occupancy, average room rate, RevPAR, yield management and revenue streams across rooms and F&B.
• Review rate structures and strategies using market data and demand analysis, and keep property rates and policies up to date on third-party systems.
• Manage reservations service quality in the CRS and PMS, verify daily arrivals and guest folios, and lead daily briefings and monthly Heartist meetings.
• Lead the Reservations team, including performance appraisals, coaching and counselling, and ensure the team pursues sales opportunities and meets room revenue targets.
• Handle E-account rate loading and connectivity with local and international sales offices, and coordinate e-marketing with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
• Carry out market research, competitive price monitoring and distribution trend analysis, and support the Director of Sales and Marketing with pricing and demand projects.
• Coordinate quarterly promotions, optimise the hotel website and corporate e-commerce programmes, and share monthly trends, competitor analysis and guest feedback during revenue meetings.
