About the role
The Commis II will support the kitchen brigade by preparing mise en place, handling food preparation and assisting with food presentation. This position is based at Kempinski in Safaga, Egypt and is part of a luxury five‑star hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare kitchen equipment and assemble ingredients for menu items.
- Prepare simple food items and food for service.
- Assist with checking, receiving and storing of goods and maintain storage areas.
- Clean kitchen, equipment, handle waste and linen, and uphold high hygiene standards.
- Attend all briefings and participate in training.
Required profile
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in a similar kitchen position.
- Preferably experience in an international, luxury five‑star hotel.
- Good communication skills in English.
