Compliance Manager

About the role

Arabic.AI is hiring a full-time Compliance Manager in Cairo. The role ensures the organization stays compliant with applicable ISO standards, regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks, and leads compliance monitoring, documentation control, internal audit, certification maintenance and the introduction of new management system standards, including emerging AI governance, privacy and business continuity frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulations and internal policies, and monitor regulatory changes
• Lead the annual internal audit programme, conduct audits, report findings and follow up corrective actions
• Maintain the controlled documentation system across multiple ISO certifications and schedule reviews of policies and procedures
• Coordinate surveillance, recertification and external audits, and act as liaison with certification bodies
• Support ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 22301, and manage compliance risks and non-conformances
• Deliver compliance training, prepare compliance reports and support stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Risk Management or a related field
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification required
• At least 8 years of experience in compliance, quality, governance or risk management
• Proven experience planning and running internal audit programmes and managing ISO-certified systems
• Experience coordinating external audits and certification activities; technology, AI or regulated industry experience preferred

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, especially ISO 9001, with familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO 27701 and ISO 22301 an advantage
• Document control, policy development and management system documentation
• Risk management, corrective action and continuous improvement
• Microsoft Office and document management systems
