Concierge Agent

About the role

A full-time Concierge Agent is sought for the hospitality team at a hotel in Cairo, Egypt. The role is that of a guest ambassador who delivers personalized service and turns every request into an unforgettable experience, in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions, dining, entertainment and city events to guide guests accurately
• Handle guest requests efficiently, including dining reservations, entertainment bookings, transport, tours, medical and florist services
• Keep guest preference records and history to personalize future interactions
• Build a network of reliable service providers and local contacts
• Organize printed materials such as brochures, city maps and restaurant guides
• Follow up on guest requests and endorsements, and respond to inquiries positively and courteously
• Work according to departmental SOPs, safety policies and organizational guidelines, and collaborate with colleagues
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required profile

• At least 1 year of professional experience in customer service, hospitality or a related guest-facing field
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure, with a solutions-oriented approach
• Legal permission to work in Egypt

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong organization, time management and teamwork skills

The position involves constant standing and walking, frequent lifting up to 30 lbs, occasional climbing of stairs and ladders, and requires physical stamina.
