Contracts Engineer

About the role

The Contracts Engineer will support the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business line by managing contractual relationships with subcontractors, clients, and partners. You will ensure that all contractual obligations are met, track claims and variations, and provide actionable insights to improve contract administration processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyse, and respond to contractual correspondence with subcontractors, clients, and partners.
• Collect and organise data for contractual claims, prepare findings, and maintain claims logs.
• Collect and organise data for variations, prepare findings, and maintain variation logs.
• Verify subcontractor obligations such as bank guarantees and insurance certificates.
• Participate in weekly progress, pre‑construction, variation, and other project management meetings.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with contract provisions and recommend adjustments.
• Create, update, and maintain all contract administration logs and generate regular reports.
• Provide recommendations and lessons learned to enhance contract formation and administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering degree.
• Professional certification (CLAC, CPAM – in progress, or ACIArb) preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in contract administration within the construction or electrical sector.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
