Corporate Tax Senior Manager

About the role

PwC's tax services team advises clients on tax planning, compliance and strategy, helping them navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. This Senior Manager role sits within the Corporate Tax line of service and focuses on delivering consulting and advisory services on a range of tax matters.

The role is senior management level, with increasing autonomy: you apply sound judgment, recognise when to take action and when to escalate, and build and sustain high-performing, diverse and inclusive teams.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax planning, compliance and strategy, and help them optimise their tax positions
• Craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story
• Apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities, and validate outcomes with clients while sharing alternative perspectives
• Direct the team through complexity, showing composure in ambiguous and challenging situations
• Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels and make difficult decisions to resolve issues affecting team effectiveness
• Model and reinforce professional and technical standards, including PwC tax and audit guidance, the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements

Required profile

• Ability to deepen expertise and stay relevant
• Experience leading and delivering value at a senior management level
• Willingness to work in a firm where government clearance is required and visa sponsorship is available
