Corporate Trainer – Food & Beverage Experience

About the role

RAF Specialty Coffee is looking for a passionate Corporate Trainer to design and deliver learning programs that elevate the food & beverage experience across its coffee shop network. The role combines curriculum development, hands‑on barista coaching, and performance support to ensure consistent service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Training Needs Analysis using performance data, operational requirements and customer feedback.
• Develop annual and quarterly training plans aligned with business growth and operational priorities.
• Design and update training materials, SOP guides, presentations and manuals.
• Deliver specialty coffee and barista training covering origins, roasting, brewing, espresso extraction, milk science, latte art and workflow efficiency.
• Evaluate and certify baristas against quality standards and organise regular coffee cupping sessions.
• Train staff on customer service excellence, complaint handling and hospitality standards.
• Provide leadership development for supervisors, team leaders and branch managers.
• Design and deliver onboarding programs to accelerate new‑hire productivity.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, field coaching and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate training records and produce periodic reports on completion rates and impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Education or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, Operations Training or a similar role.
