Fire Life Safety Specialist

About the role

The Fire Life Safety Specialist ensures the safety of guests, employees, and property by monitoring fire and security systems, conducting inspections, and responding to emergencies at Marriott Mena House Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms and the fire life safety system.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and resolve safety hazards.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact EMS as needed.
• Assist guests and staff during emergency situations and defuse disturbances.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, shift summaries and loss‑prevention documentation.
• Escort unwelcome persons, report vehicle accidents/thefts and coordinate outside assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property information.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Clear visual acuity for reading small print and inspecting equipment.
• Strong physical stamina to respond quickly to incidents.
• Willingness to comply with all company policies, safety training and licensing requirements.

Required skills
