Hostess - Restaurant and Bar

About the role

Accor is hiring a Hostess for its Cairo outlets, working in bars or restaurants. The hostess receives guests, escorts them to their tables and delivers maximum service in line with the department's rules and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive guests in any outlet and escort them to tables by the standard procedure
• Inform customers about order alternatives and encourage the sale of targeted services
• Maintain customers' personal belongings left at the workstation and hand them over to supervisors
• Follow departmental instructions, the Food and Beverage Manager's operational standards and the weekly work schedule
• Attend orientation training and undergo two performance assessments each year
• Strive for 100% customer satisfaction
• Take part in environmental protection activities, energy-saving measures and waste management
• Carry out quality management and food safety responsibilities, and other duties assigned by managers

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Hostess or in a similar front-of-house hospitality role
• Proven supervisory or lead experience with the ability to train and motivate team members
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fluent English; Arabic, French or other languages are highly desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
