HR Business Partner - North Africa & Levant Cluster

About the role

Mars is looking for a People & Organization (P&O) Business Partner to execute the P&O agenda for the North Africa & Levant Cluster in Cairo. The role covers day-to-day HR partnership across the associate lifecycle, working with site leadership, people managers and the wider P&O team to deliver people initiatives and support the site's business and people priorities. The position is based on-site in the Fifth Settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Drive associate engagement initiatives and support action plans that improve the workplace experience and culture
• Support performance management, talent development, career planning and capability building
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment, including requisitions, interviews, candidate selection and hiring documentation
• Coordinate with Associates Support Services on onboarding and offboarding
• Provide day-to-day P&O guidance and support to associates and line managers
• Resolve associate queries with Payroll, Government Relations, Shared Services and other teams
• Support the implementation of site, local, regional and global P&O programs
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, local labour requirements and data confidentiality

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or any field
• 1-3 years of experience in human resources or a similar people-focused role
• Previous experience supporting employees and managers in a site-based, manufacturing, operational or fast-paced environment is preferred
• Ability to work independently on site while staying connected to the broader P&O team
• Strong written and verbal communication in Arabic and English

Required skills

• Hands-on HR experience covering engagement, performance management, learning and development, recruitment, onboarding and HR administration
• Comfort with HR systems, data and administrative processes
• Stakeholder management and handling sensitive matters professionally
