Import & Export Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Import & Export Operations Supervisor to lead our logistics team in Nasr City, Cairo. You will oversee end‑to‑end shipment processes, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, carriers, and customs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage import and export shipments (FCL, LCL, breakbulk) from booking to final delivery.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customs brokers, transporters and other service providers.
• Monitor vessel schedules, cargo readiness, loading, discharge, customs clearance and delivery.
• Review and ensure accuracy of shipping documents such as B/L, HBL, MBL, SI, VGM, invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin.
• Handle operational issues, delays and documentation discrepancies while providing timely updates to customers.
• Lead the operations team, maintaining strong relationships with carriers, agents and customers and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple shipments under pressure.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
