Lobby Ambassador

About the role

The Lobby Ambassador engages hotel guests to improve their service experience by activating all outlet services in the lobby area, such as the restaurant and bar, front desk, business center and lounge. The role is based in Cairo and focuses on anticipating guest needs and ensuring they are met.

Key responsibilities

• Activate all lobby outlet services (Restaurant & Bar, Front Desk, Business Center, Lounge, etc.) and welcome guests according to company standards.
• Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (transportation, reservations, dry cleaning) by making arrangements or identifying providers.
• Handle special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Gather and share local area knowledge, including property details, amenities, special events and local activities.
• Contact the right person or department (Bellperson, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage Server) to resolve guest calls, requests or problems.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager and complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies, keep proprietary information confidential, protect company assets and comply with quality assurance standards.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and speak clearly and professionally, answering phones with proper etiquette.
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods and lift objects of up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.
