Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Coca-Cola is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to carry out corrective and preventive maintenance of all plant equipment so that it stays available and readable for production. The role covers the maintenance of plant assets in line with company procedures for quality, safety, loss prevention and GMP, and includes leading a multi-skilled technician team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and update the preventive maintenance plan according to machine condition and history, and manage the PM budget while delivering year-on-year efficiencies.
• Purchase spare parts and maintenance consumables and ensure timely completion of corrective and preventive actions to avoid service and quality defects and audit non-conformances.
• Manage, lead and motivate a multi-skilled technician team, including performance management and clear objectives.
• Take part in the site reliability improvement program and continuous improvement teams, and contribute to engineering projects in the assigned area.
• Use SAP maintenance module for the PM program and reports, and issue monthly reports on maintenance expenses and costs.
• Develop and run predictive and proactive maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical areas, and schedule mechanical tests, preventive, current and major repairs with management approval.
• Manage utilities (cold stores, boilers, compressors, heat exchangers, air conditioning, etc.) and flow work orders from requisition to execution, allocating costs.
• Apply FMEA and RCA, help develop operators' technical skills, and act as a food safety team member (HCP-2).
• Follow EOHS policy, take part in inspections, audits and risk assessments, report hazards and incidents, and have the authority to stop activities that violate the EOHS system.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14000 and OHSAS 18001.
• Good knowledge of change management tools such as Lean and Six Sigma, and project management.
• English is essential for dealing with international suppliers and corporate.
